StaySuite vs Avantio: a manager's suite or an owner's assistant?

Avantio is built for professional managers with large portfolios. StaySuite is for owners with a few properties. How they differ and who needs which.

Portada: StaySuite vs Avantio: a manager's suite or an owner's assistant?

Putting Avantio next to StaySuite is a little like comparing a lorry with a van. Both carry things. One is designed for a fleet and a depot, the other for a single driver. Avantio describes itself as a platform for managers with anything from twenty to more than eight hundred properties. StaySuite is for people who own, or look after, one to a handful.

We include the comparison because owners researching software in Spain do land on Avantio, and some of them should stay there. What we say about it comes from its public website, read on 15 October 2026. Where its pages do not mention a feature, that is not proof the product lacks it.

Feature by feature

  • Channel management: Avantio, real-time updates to more than fifty portals according to its channel manager page, with no extra commission from Avantio per booking. StaySuite, iCal with the main portals, read about every twenty minutes.
  • Operations: Avantio, owner area, statements and settlements, APIs and a marketplace of tools. StaySuite, a manager plan for up to ten properties, much lighter.
  • Website and bookings: Avantio, a booking engine and web design. StaySuite, a simple public page with direct contact, booking requests taken by the assistant, and no commission.
  • Guest conversations: Avantio, a unified inbox, with no AI assistant described on the pages we read. StaySuite, an assistant that answers the phone in the caller's language, with recorded and transcribed calls.
  • Traveller registration: Avantio, online check-in that collects data and signatures and offers semi-automatic exports to the police bodies, plus a plan powered by Chekin with identity verification and automatic export to SES.Hospedajes, at a price its site does not state. StaySuite, a form, validation, export and print, with no filing.

What it costs

Avantio's pricing page quotes a fee per property per month in the low double digits of euros, with a minimum monthly fee for portfolios of up to twenty properties. The page gave a minimum figure and a calculator figure that did not quite match, so we will not quote one. In any case it is a substantial sum for someone with one house, and the page does not show a price for a single property or a free trial. Larger portfolios get a custom quote.

StaySuite during the pioneer offer, until 31 December 2026, costs €29 a month for one property, €49 for up to three and €99 for a manager plan with up to ten, all excluding VAT (standard rate for one property: €59).

Pros and cons of Avantio

  • Pro: a real-time channel manager reaching many portals, with partnerships with the big ones.
  • Pro: a complete suite for scaling: owners, settlements, operations.
  • Pro: an option for automatic filing to SES.Hospedajes through its Chekin-powered plan.
  • Con: built for professionals, with a minimum monthly fee that suits a portfolio rather than a single house.
  • Con: no AI assistant described for calls and messages.
  • Con: the automatic registration option has a cost its website does not publish.

Pros and cons of StaySuite

  • Pro: priced for an owner, with plans from a single property.
  • Pro: an assistant that answers the phone in the caller's language, with recorded calls.
  • Pro: a flat monthly price with no commission on your bookings.
  • Con: not a real-time channel manager. About twenty minutes of lag on iCal.
  • Con: no filing with SES.Hospedajes.
  • Con: not a tool for running hundreds of properties or for complex settlements.

When to choose Avantio

Choose Avantio if you manage twenty or more properties for other people, need to settle accounts with owners, and want distribution across many portals in real time. It is also the sensible pick if you expect to grow into the hundreds. For that job StaySuite is simply too small.

When to choose StaySuite

Choose StaySuite if you own or look after a few properties and your main concern is answering guests at any hour in their language, with a public page of your own for direct contact and no commission. You will give up real-time channel management and automatic filing, and you should be sure you can live with that.

Could you use both?

Rarely worth it. An agency using Avantio already has its guest communication and registration tooling, and paying for a second system on top is hard to justify. Where it might make sense is a manager who keeps a few of their own properties outside the main portfolio and wants a separate, simple public page with an assistant.

If you are unsure which side of the line you fall on, count your properties and ask whether anyone else's money passes through your hands. If not, start with the demo on the StaySuite website.
